Here is a very simple but delicious way to smoke pork shoulder on the Pit Barrel Cooker.

Today's Tip : Pork shoulder is best suited for making Pulled Pork. Coat the Pork Butt with an initial layer of liquid/paste like mustard,etc. Then generously cover the whole meat with the rub of your choice. Be careful that no part is left uncovered by the rub. It is better to then put the pork butt in an aluminium pan. This helps it to remain exposed to maximum smoke while all the juices are collected in the pan, which will be again used later to make the pulled pork.
