3 Steps Pig Roast

The BBQ Pit Boys 3 Pig Roast "low and slow" whole hogs and serve them with some of their favorite sides including slaw, barbeque beans, green beans and peppers, potato salad, corn bread, biscuits, cherry pie and a whole lot more!


  • Whole pigs 3 , butterflied
  • Olive oil 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  • Rub 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)

3 Steps To Follow:

1. Preheat barbecue grill.

2. Rub the pigs with olive oil and rub, place on the barbecue, cook at 200F for 12 to 14 hours. Allow to sit for about an hour.

3. Use some shredded pork tossed with barbecue sauce in sandwiches or use as desired.

Today's Tip : Do not purchase that pork shoulder or brisket at half the price until it passes all the tests. 

Go for a Boston butt which is the most tried and tested meat selection that will never go wrong. Try to go for 6-9 pounds Boston butt with plenty of fat marbling through the entire piece.
